Dip a piece of string into rubbing alcohol. Tightly tie the string around the exact area of the wine bottle where you want to make your cut. Light a match, set the string on fire and let the string burn out. Pick up the bottle (avoiding the hot areas) and drop it into a bucket of cold water.
