Instructions:

Follow these steps to create a delicious champagne chicken dish:

Step 1: Prep the Chicken

Start by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the butter has melted, add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until they are golden brown on both sides. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.

Step 2: Prepare the Sauce

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and chopped shallot. Sauté them until they become fragrant and translucent. Pour in the champagne and chicken broth, and bring the mixture to a simmer. Allow it to reduce by half, which should take around 5-7 minutes.

Step 3: Cook the Chicken in the Sauce

Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, making sure to pour any collected juices back into the sauce. Cook the chicken in the simmering sauce for about 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

Step 4: Finish with Cream and Garnish

Remove the chicken from the skillet once again and set it aside on a plate. Stir in the heavy cream into the sauce, allowing it to heat through and thicken slightly. Taste the sauce and adjust the seasonings as needed. Return the chicken to the skillet to coat it in the creamy champagne sauce.

Step 5: Serve and Enjoy!

Plate the champagne chicken and garnish it with freshly chopped parsley. This dish pairs well with mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or a simple salad. Pour a glass of champagne to complement the rich flavors of the chicken and elevate your dining experience.

Champagne chicken is a delightful and indulgent recipe that takes the classic chicken dish to a whole new level. The use of champagne adds a touch of luxury and sophistication, making it perfect for special occasions or when you want to treat yourself. Try this recipe for your next dinner party and impress your guests with this delicious and elegant dish.
